What does drain unblocking cost in Groningen?
Every drain unblocking job in Groningen starts with a fixed starting rate of €140.00 excl. VAT, which includes a full hour of work. So we have time to do it properly, without you having to watch the clock.
You can reach us day and night. In an emergency we also come out at night.
Our rates
These rates apply to all our work: drain unblocking, drain inspection, drain cleaning and drain repairs. All amounts on this page exclude 21% VAT.

What is sometimes added?
You won't see these costs on every bill. You only pay them when they are needed, and we always tell you in advance.
Drain camera, per visit
€70.00 excl. VAT
If we can't see where the problem is, we can look inside the pipe with the camera. We only do that after agreeing it with you. With the pipe locator we also show where the problem is and how deep.
Small consumables, per job
€15.00 excl. VAT
For the small things we use up, such as sealant, tape and cloths. Larger materials, such as a new trap, we mention in advance.
Parking costs
Actual cost
If we have to pay to park at your address, we pass on those costs. We never add a surcharge to them.

Surcharge outside working hours
Outside our normal working hours a surcharge applies to the total amount, except for parking costs.

If two surcharges overlap, only the highest one counts. The time we arrive at your address decides which surcharge applies. Public holidays are New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, King's Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Monday, and Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Can it wait until a working day? Then we tell you honestly, because that saves you the surcharge. Call us and we will think it through with you.
How to pay
You pay the engineer straight after the job, and you get a receipt right away.
Card payment
By debit or credit card, foreign cards included, directly with the engineer.

Only with the exact amount, because for safety reasons the engineer doesn't carry change.

Can't it be fixed in one go?
Sometimes there is a bigger problem behind it, such as a collapsed pipe. If we see that, we stop and talk it through with you first. You pay for the time and costs up to that point. Then we decide together on the next step.
Does the problem come back?
Unblocking and repairs come with a guarantee of 3 months. If the same blockage or leak returns in that time, we make an appointment to come back. That costs you nothing.

Does the appointment no longer suit you, or have you already solved it yourself? Call or message us up to 2 hours beforehand and it costs you nothing. If you cancel later, or we are already at your door, you pay the starting rate.
Do you live further away?
Within 35 kilometres of the city of Groningen the same rates apply everywhere. If you live further away, we agree in advance what the extra travel time costs.
